Supporting Communities
Paces Campus is at the heart of High Green and Chapeltown's community. It is a community building with lots going on including early years and childcare, disability activities, sports and leisure, family fun, education and training, health, art and the environment.
Paces Campus is unique as it brings together people from two different communities. The Campus serves local people living in High Green, Chapeltown and the wider north Sheffield. It also attracts the disabled community to Paces School, a DCSF Non-Maintained Special School for children with physical and sensory disabilities, the only one in the UK, and a young peron's project, Leaping the Void. The strength of the Campus is how well everyone gets on with each other. It is valued by our disabled users who rate it as friendly and accessible.
There is so much happening at Paces Campus, including car boot sales, fund raising events throughout the year, Christmas festivities, and activities to keep the children busy during the summer. The Campus is a host to many parties in the indoor play area and the sports hall. The cafe can offer food year round for all the events and celebrations.
